Prospanica will celebrate 30 years affecting how the nation thinks, speaks, and creates at the 2018 Prospanica Conference & Career Expo ¡IMPACTO! Rising & Thriving, from September 12 – 14 in Milwaukee. Prospanica has broadened its reach of Hispanic professionals to 46 Professional and University Chapters. Their combined efforts deliver over 250 events a year providing local businesses and corporate partners with networking and professional development opportunities to engage with Hispanic professionals. Prospanica is committed to helping young Hispanic talent pursue a higher education, providing continued support throughout every career stage. Each year, the foundation awards several scholarships to students pursuing their master’s degrees and undergraduate studies, giving them forward momentum to impact the community. Prospanica’s University Partner Program provides full and half-paid scholarship programs to students, along with help with student loans and refinancing programs. They currently have 30 university partners, yielding an estimated $900,000 a year in tuition for Hispanic students. Major corporations seek top talent and interview candidates at Prospanica’s Annual Conference & Career Expo. Following is a sample of companies attending this year: General Motors, Merck, LinkedIn, Toyota, Ford, Microsoft, P&G, BrystolMeyers Squibb, DELL, Google, ExxonMobil, American Airlines, GE, Kimberly-Clark, and Wells Fargo.
